Maid Teams of Athens, GA, offers you answers to many of our residential and commercial questions regarding our cleaning services. 

  • Can I trust Maid Teams to clean my home or business?

    Maid Teams has been cleaning homes and businesses in the Athens area since 1986. We employ a hard-working group of ladies that have been drug tested and background checked when hired. Many of our employees have been with us for 10, 15, even 25 plus years.

  • Does Maid Teams need to visit my home to give an estimate?

    No, we prefer to discuss and quote over the phone. We will discuss your house and specific needs then explain how we operate and go over our services. We will then give you an estimate of what we think the cleaning would cost. If you have a business, we do prefer to visit the business to give an estimate.

  • What does a cleaning from Maid Teams cost?

    The cost has many factors involved, such as size of the house, frequency of cleanings, how many people or pets occupy the home. When you call to discuss all this, we can then give you an estimate.

  • Does Maid Teams require me to sign a contract?

    Maid Teams will never require anyone to sign a contract for service.

  • How many cleaning associates can I expect to clean my home or business?

    We typically work in 2 or 3 person teams. The larger teams allow us to be in your home less time therefore less of an inconvenience.

  • Will the same team clean for me each time?

    Yes, assuming you are pleased with the work of that particular team. Whether you are a regular or occasional customer, we will always try to send the same team. We feel its important for you to get to know the ladies cleaning for you and they get to know your house or business and become more efficient. Of course, since we have multiple teams, you are always welcome to change teams if you feel it’s necessary.

  • Do I need to provide the cleaning supplies?

    No, our teams arrive with all the cleaning supplies and equipment needed to clean your home or business. However, we understand that some people prefer certain products such as a special floor cleaner, and if provided we will be glad to use it.

  • How do I pay for my services?

    We do require payment at the time of service and we take either check, cash or credit card. If using a credit card, the information will be given to the office prior to cleaning and will also incur a small service fee.

  • How often do you provide services?

    We can clean on a one-time basis, on occasion, or a regular service which is typically every week, every other week, or every four weeks.

  • What if I need to reschedule a cleaning?

    We prefer a 48-hour notice if you need to skip or reschedule a cleaning. If you skip the day before or day of service you will incur a $35 skip fee. Last minute changes in our schedules puts a burden on other customers.

  • Do I need to be home when they come to clean?

    No, as long as we can get in and there is payment, it is not necessary for you to be home. We do, however, prefer someone be home if possible the first cleaning so you can meet the team cleaning for you but it isn’t required.

  • What time will the team arrive at my home or business?

    All of our teams prefer to start early AM. The early AM cleanings typically involve businesses being cleaned before hours. The schedule is put together the day before and at that time we will have an idea as to when the team will arrive. We typically give a two-hour window of arrival. If the cleaning is first thing in the AM we can narrow that time down further. We do not give appointments such as 11:00am, we would confirm sometime between 10:00-12:00 to allow for any changes in the schedule.

  • What if I am unhappy with the service or something was missed?

    At Maid Teams, we strive to please every customer and give them the clean they expected. Communication is very important to us, especially when it comes to issues with quality. If the customer is home, we encourage them to check the work before the team leaves so if any issue arise we can take care of it then. Otherwise, if the customer calls within 24-48 hours and has any issues we will be more than happy to send the team back out to correct any mistakes. We do not give refunds; we will instead correct the issue.

  • Is there anything that Maid Teams won’t do?

    Yes, while we always say we can do just about anything, within reason, there are a few things we don’t do such as – climb on ladders, move heavy furniture, clean outside windows, and clean up feces or vomit.
